Trine Møller as Brünnhilde (...) sang with a creamy rich lyric voice, disarming affection and effortless high notes. I have rarely heard a rendition of this difficult scene as intimate and touching as this evening.

Trine Bastrup Møller impressed with exceptional clarity and effortless brilliance in the upper register. She sang Brünnhilde with absolute vocal assurance, full of warmth, vulnerability and inner strength. The soprano showed a fine understanding of the particular acoustics of the house, offering delicate pianissimi and a supple vocal quality rarely heard with such tenderness in the great Wagnerian roles. She also fully inhabited the role dramatically, imbuing the character with both deeply moving human emotion and impressively heroic qualities.

The Danish soprano Trine Møller (...) delivers an absolutely brilliant performance in this dreaded part that leaves nothing to be desired: with glistening metallic top tones that effortlessly outshine any ensemble. But also with a warm middle register, which comes into play in the touching self-confession in front of her reflection in the mirror, where Verdi's roots in bel canto become audible.
